New Licensing Structure Benefits Network and Multi-license Users

Following feedback from customers, we recently reviewed our licensing arrangements with a view of making network licensing easier to administer and providing improved value for organisations wishing to use multiple licenses across a country or continent.

Our customers said:

The ‘named user’ list used in our network licenses (allowing a maximum of 5 users within 24 hours to access the software) could be difficult to use and administer.

New licensing options to help customers wishing to use LimitState software more widely within their organisation would be helpful.

We therefore:

Removed the 'named user' restriction from all our network licenses

There is no longer any limit on the number of users that can access a license in any 24 hour period. Additionally, we have taken away the necessity to maintain a list of 'named users', thus making license administration much easier - especially for multi-office organisations.

Introduced new, cost-effective, licensing options

In order to help customers wishing to use LimitState software more widely within their organisation, additional licenses purchased will now be discounted according to the overall number of licenses held.

Additionally, renewal costs will now also be discounted according to the number of licenses held for the software at the time.
