Yesterday (20th May) saw LimitState:GEO officially launched at the prestigious headquarters of the Institution of Civil Engineers in London. In attendance were representatives from industry and academia who witnessed first-hand how LimitState:GEO could both meet their current geotechnical stability analysis needs and help ease the transition to Eurocode 7.

Launch of revolutionary new product LimitState:GEO announced

LimitState:GEO is a revolutionary new software application for geotechnical stability analysis. It for the first time allows geotechnical engineers to use a single simple to use software application to rapidly analyse any type of stability problem, including slopes, walls and foundations. The software is based on a revolutionary new computational technique - Discontinuity Layout Optimization (DLO) - which automatically identifies the critical configuration of sliding soil blocks in a failing soil mass.
