Educational Licensing
We have a policy of issuing free licences for Universities and Academia when used exclusively for teaching and / or research purposes.
How to license
The current versions of our software use a method of academic licensing that automatically recognises academic networks. Simply download and install the software; when started, an option to "Use in academic mode" should be available. This will give complete access to all parts of the software for computers on a university network. To see if your academic network is recognised, please navigate to academic test.
Each time the software is used on your university network, a new 30-day license will be issued by our server. This means that you are able to use it for up to 30 days away from your University network - for example, if you take your laptop home, the software will continue to be licensed.
If your academic network is not recognised, please contact us, including in your email the full text displayed on the academic test page from the computer you wish to use the software on, and we will add it to our list.
