License Types

Renewable

Renewable licenses are the main type of license offered by LimitState and involve a one-off purchase cost for the software followed by a 20% annual fee for support and maintenance. Renewable licenses are available in 'node locked' and 'network' versions:

• Node Locked - The license is tied to a single PC (Basic) or a USB dongle (Flexible). This type of license is suitable for smaller companies.
• Network - The license can be accessed by any PC on an office network (Office) or a company network within a country (Corporate). This type of license is is the most convenient type for medium and large companies, where many users may wish to share the license between computers.

Leased

Leased licenses are also available for periods of up to 12 months. The cost of a leased license includes full support and maintenance for the duration of the license. For more information on leased licenses, please contact us.
