Last Friday, the British Geotechnical Association held their annual conference at the headquarters of the Institution of Civil Engineers in London.

In the morning, LimitState Director Dr Colin Smith spoke about Discontinuity Layout Optimization, the novel technology that powers the LimitState:GEO software. The talk was very well received, and throughout the day there was continuous interest from geotechnical engineers looking for software to deal with problems including slopes, retaining walls and sheet pile walls, and many people visited our stand to try LimitState:GEO and pick up a pack.
