LimitState Director, Dr Matthew Gilbert, will be presenting a guest lecture at the upcoming course "Mechanically Stabilized Earth Walls and Reinforced Soil Slopes", to be held at the Newark Club, Newark, New Jersey in the U.S. between the 26th and 28th of October.

The course, organized by ADAMA Engineering, is designed to help attendees appreciate and implement mechanically stabilized earth walls and reinforced soil slopes using Load Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) and Allowable Stress Design (ASD) methods. It is suitable for geotechnical engineers, design specialists, construction engineers; consulting engineers and members of the academic community.

Dr Gilbert will be presenting on the topic of "Recent Developments in Limit Analysis and Limit State Design of Reinforced Soil" on Friday 28th October.
