By its very nature, innovation can seldom be predicted. However, it can be managed and encouraged. This seminar aims to give insights into how this can be done and to assess some future trends, all illustrated by some practical examples. Each of the day's three sessions will feature a specific aspect of innovation in geotechnics. Drs Gilbert and Smith of LimitState will be making a presentation on 'Advances in Geotechnical Limit Analysis'.
